FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

THE BASICS.

+ What is your photography style?

I would describe mine as timeless and authentic. I like to do a mixture of both posed and candid shots that are intentionally shown to demonstrate who you are as a couple or a person. My editing style is on the warmer side with grain to give it that vintage classic look and feel. 

+ Where are you based out of?

I am based out of Branford, Connecticut, but travel all throughout the state and New England for sessions and weddings. Want me to travel? Tell me when and where and I'll be on the first plane out! 

+ How long have you been doing photography?

I've been doing photography for just over 3 years now and I love it so much. Can't stop, won't stop ya know?

+ What is your turnaround time?

For sessions, 2-3 weeks and weddings are 6-8 weeks. Sometimes, even quicker but this is the average time! I also send out sneak peaks for your wedding 24-48 hours after your big day! Need your photos by a certain time? I now offer "rush fees!"

+ Do you help us plan the sessions?

Yes 10000%. When planning your session, I always help you pick out locations and outfits based on what you are looking for out of your shoot or what best reflects you as a couple/person. I'm always available via txt or email or even FaceTime to help you out! 

+ Do you give out RAW (unedited) images?

Nope! Half of the magic is from the editing that is apart of the creative piece of each session and wedding. You know what they say: Trust the process!

+ Can we bring our pets to the session?

Yes!! and it is encouraged! I always recommend bringing another person to come to your session to help take care of your dog, cat, etc. so we are able to do shots with and without them! 

+ What days do you schedule shoots?

I schedule most, if not all, of my shoots during the week Monday-Thursday. I do not schedule normal sessions Friday-Sundays due to weddings, and if not weddings, than I use those days to take time off to spend with family or catch up on emails/editing! 

+ Do you charge travel fees?

I charge travel fees for any session, wedding or event located out of state. For anything driving distance I charge the standard IRS rate of $0.56/mile. Anything outside of driving distance, flight, hotel, and transportation will need to be covered. 

+ What should I wear? Should I get my hair and makeup done?

Believe it or not, outfits can help make your photos come out even better! I always recommend neutral colors, something that is comfortable with movement, and that best suits your style! Once our session is booked, I will send you an outfit guide with tips + tricks and am always here to help throughout your shopping process! As for hair and makeup, it is not necessary, but I always recommend it! One, because you're supporting other small businesses, two because it makes you feel special and beautiful, and three because you won't have to stress if your hair or makeup doesn't come out the way you want to when you're doing it! If you need recommendations for these services, don't hesitate to ask and I will be happy to provide them to you!!
